Saturday's dress code is "Summer Formal". This means a standard formal dress code with slightly more flexibility for the warmer weather: ankle-length dresses(or longer), dressy jumpsuits, or suits WITH TIES in lighter, breathable fabrics to account for heat. We encourage you to get creative with your outfits regarding brighter colors, patterns, and style! The wedding is entirely outdoors. Though there is typically a breeze off the lake, please be mindful of the heat and make adjustments accordingly. It can quickly get much colder and windier along the lakefront at night, so we recommend packing a shawl or wrap if you have short sleeves. As the ceremony is on grass, we recommend wearing block heels, wedges, or flat shoes. Please no shorts, shorter dresses, shorter skirts, jeans, t-shirts, khakis, flip flops, baseball hats, athletic wear, or casual sandals. Ladies avoid outfits in white, light tan, cream, ivory, or basically anything light enough to seem white from a distance. Let us know if you have any questions but if you have to really think about whether it is appropriate, maybe pick a different outfit. We are excited to see all of our favorite people dressed to impress!

Our Friday Welcome Party's dress code is Summer Casual. Similar to that of our main event, this implies a traditional casual dress code with some flexibility to account for the warmer weather. Recommended attire includes: sundresses, maxi dresses, nice beach cover-ups, and dressier shorts paired with polos, solid-colored t-shirts, or other nice tops. Swimwear is encouraged for lounging next to the pool/shoreline and swimming -- it is a pool party after all! With that being said, please make sure to cover up when outside of the pool gates by the bar and food. Shoes optional! Our photographer will be present to snap some fun pics of our wedding weekend kickoff! Ladies, please avoid white.

We understand that most guests will be checking out and traveling Sunday. This grab-and-go style brunch does not have a dress code. Wear whatever your heart desires!
