Please navigate to the "Dress Code" tab for guidance on attire for all of the weekend's festivities.

Aside from wedding party, we would prefer to keep the main events (Friday/Saturday) and communal gathering spaces of the resort throughout the weekend child-free. With that being said, we do understand some parents are traveling from far away and staying on-site which may make that a more challenging ask than a traditional wedding. Please let Charles or Katie know directly if you have any concerns and we can work something out.

Why are you jinxing us? JK. Kind of. The reception tent is built-in and is set to withstand all weather conditions. Other events will be moved there or in the resort's recreation room if necessary.

Please let us know if you are arriving earlier in the week. While we do not have any official events planned, we arrive Thursday and may organize something casual and fun to do with our fellow early-arrivers. We would love to include you. We check-out Monday so you are also welcome to join us after brunch on Sunday for a relaxing day as we recharge. However, we do encourage you to take advantage of any free time to go out exploring South Haven and the surrounding towns! It truly is a beautiful area worthy of getting to know! As mentioned on other pages: there are VERY few car services available in South Haven. The best form of transportation locally is by personal vehicle (or bike!) However, there is a local rideshare driver named Chris who works during the summertime. His business is called South Haven Rideshare. "Call Chris for a smooth ride: 269-910-6622" (Nope, we're not kidding, this is a direct quote from the official City of South Haven's tourism website. Welcome to Michigan Lake Life!) While Lyft and Uber do service the area, they can be unreliable at best. Your best bet with using them is to reserve one well in advance if needed.
